  • your food will last longer, staying crisp, fresh and looking great
  • Wrap cheese, half an avocado, lemon, a sandwich or leftover veggies. Seal up even big, bulky stuff like half a melon, half a head of cabbage, or a pitcher of cold brewed coffee. Your containers, casseroles, and bowls of various sizes can be covered, too.

Z Wraps are reusable. Wash with cool water and mild soap. Leave it to air dry. And be sure not to wring it out.

How do I use my Z Wrap?

Wrap your Z Wrap around food or over a dish. And let the warmth of your hands do all the work. The Z Wrap cools quickly and will hold its seal or stick to a bowl. It’s best to use a Z Wrap that’s bigger than the item you’re wrapping. While a small one should be sufficient for a sandwich or a small amount of fresh herbs, a large bowl will work best with a wrap that falls at least half way down from the top.

What is the best introductory size?

The medium and large sized Z Wraps are the most versatile. They can be used to wrap up your sandwich, a block of hard cheese, and left-over greens. These wraps make it easy to keep your sliced veggies fresh, without having to search for a container with a matching lid.  It’s also just right for covering small and medium-sized bowls and bakeware dishes. You can even just wrap up the end of a cucumber or half onion. We can’t leave out just how great these are as a stocking stuffers for your favorite environmentally savvy home cook or an any time hostess gift, bring them along with that bottle of wine and cheese.

How do I wash my Z Wrap?

Wash your Z Wrap in cool water with a mild dish soap and a sponge or cloth. Leave it to air dry. Hot water will melt the wax on the wrap. And be sure not to wring it out. Here’s one washing trick: lay your Z Wrap on a cutting board in the sink to make cleaning easier.

Why is my Z Wrap sticky?

If it’s sticky, that’s a good sign! It means your Z Wrap is ready to do its job – seal around your food. They are designed that way so they can wrap tightly around food or a dish, with the warmth of your hands.

What can I use it for?

Use your Z Wrap to wrap hard cheeses, fruit, vegetables, bread, fresh herbs, and baked goods. You can also use it to cover leftovers in bowls and baking dishes. We do not recommend using your Z Wrap to wrap raw meat or eggs.

How long will my Z Wrap last?

Your Z Wraps should last up to 100 washes which is usually 6-12 month, depending on how much you use them and how well you care for them. Make sure they do not come into contact with hot water or hot surfaces or the wax will melt and they won’t last as long.

What’s the best way to store my Z Wraps?

We like to roll up our Z Wraps and store them in a basket. You can also store them flat, inside a kitchen drawer or on a shelf. We recommend keeping them in a cool, dry place.

Why we love Z-Wraps?

Michelle Zimora, the founder of Z-Wraps is an inspirational woman. She took a passion and turned it into a business that helps make the world a better place. Here is what she has to say: “As a child, I designed labels for jars of homemade jam I made with my mom. Sitting on my mom’s lap, I learned how to sew and found a love of textiles. And then, when I had two young daughters of my own, I took those skills to the next level, sewing chandeliers made of fine paper, and curtains made of exquisite fabrics.

Simply put, I love to take what’s around me and turn it into something beautiful and useful. As a run-around mom who taught outdoor education before having kids, I care about making smart choices that are good for the environment – and look great, too. In 2017, in my kitchen, I took one of my favorite printed fabrics and coated it in a blend of beeswax, jojoba oil, and tree resin. After a whole lot of testing, I got the recipe just right. My girls went to school with their sandwiches wrapped in them the next day.”

Z Wraps are made in Easthampton, MA with cotton fabrics in signature designs. These reusable wraps are handcrafted with organic beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin. At Z Wraps, it’s our passion to infuse everyday life with timeless style; we are making sustainability beautiful.
